Odd Segue

Digging through the vault of narcissism last night, I started to re-read some of my old posts.

I came across a critical error that could have proved costly. In referring to a one-way road, I commented that yellow lines have not been painted yet. But, yellow street marks are for two-way roads; white is for one-way roads.

And nobody pointed that out to me.

I never went to Driver's Ed; what's your excuse?

I first started driving around town when I was fifteen. Usually, it was for trips to the store, to a friend's house, or to play basketball. Since I was essentially self-taught, I didn't need to pay somebody to teach me what I already knew how to do. But, since I didn't take Driver's Ed, I couldn't get my license until I was 18.

True, but quick, story.
