All-Star Game?

MLB All-Star games are lame.

First, the players don't want to be there. Amazing how many injuries crop up this week. Second, they lollygag around the infield for a couple of innings. It's rarely competitive. Finally, who calls a tie in a baseball game? And who really thinks determining home field advantage in the Series based on the outcome of this game is a good idea? Selig makes me want to puke.

I can think of three memorable plays in all the years I've paid attention to All-Star games.

1970 - Pete Rose bowls over Ray Fosse to score the winning run.

1989 - Bo Jackson jacked one about 450 feet deep over center and swooped off with the MVP.

1993 - John Kruk peeing himself while batting against Randy Johnson.

Good times.
