Because It's Friday and I'm Tired

1. What color are your socks right now? Black with white pin stripes.
2. What are you listening to right now? Nick Drakes's Five Leaves Left - my favorite song of late has been Saturday Sun.
3. What was the last thing that you ate? Pizza last night.
4. Can you drive a standard? Yes, I learned to drive on The Gunner.
5. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Normally, I would say Hunter Green, my favorite color. Today, I feel a very bright and rich blue.
6. Last person you spoke to on the phone? Melissa.
7. How old are you today? 33.
8. Favorite drink? Countrytime lemonade.
9. What is your favorite sport to watch? College football.
10. Have you ever dyed your hair? Sun-In when I was a kid...
11. Pets? Logan.
12. Favorite Food? Anything Italian - especially if it involves pasta and a cream sauce.
13. What was the last movie you watched? Can't remember - don't watch a lot of movies.
14. What was the last book you read? Prep.
15. What do you do to vent anger? If it's anger out of furor, I tend to withdraw and get very quiet. If it's anger out of frustration, throw something or hit a wall.
16. What was your favorite toy as a child? Basketball.
17. What is your favorite fall or spring? Well, that essentially boils down to football or baseball and that's a decision I can't make. Maybe a slight edge to Fall because of the weather.
18. Hugs or kisses .... Take the "or" out and insert "and".
19. Cherries or blueberries or Strawberries? Bing cherries hands down.
20. Living arrangements? Beautiful wife, dog, suburban house without the white picket fence. "Ordinary moments in his ordinary life.."
21. When was the last time you cried? Let's just say I'd have an easier time remembering the last movie I saw.
22. What is on the floor of your closet? Shoes that never made it back into their cubbyhole.
23. What did you do last night? Went to my book club meeting, listened to Texas/Alcorn State, watched Colbert.
24. Favorite smells? Rain and freshly cut grass.
25. What inspires you? Unfortunately, not a lot. A new idea that changes my perspective of the world, music and writing that describes profound feelings I couldn't previously put words to, a sporting moment of complete physical and mental mastery.
26. What are you afraid of? Heights.
27. Plain, cheese or spicy hamburgers? Snookies makes an excellent poblano burger I'm gonna have to start making at home.
28. Favorite dog breed? Beagle.
29. Number of keys on your key ring ? 7 - house, 2 car, 4 work.
30. How many years at your current job? 2.
31. Favorite day of the week? Sunday.
32. How many states have you lived in? Using a very broad definition of "lived in" - Colorado, Texas, Arizona, West Virginia.
33. Favorite holiday? Memorial Day.
